You’ll build one app and put it in production: a renewal tracker that reads Salesforce and shows a customer success team who renews in the next 90 days. Setup is three commands, once per machine.
What you need
- Node.js 24.19.0 or later. Run
node --versionto check. - A Tray account with a workspace. Your app and your Salesforce connection live there.
- An AI assistant. We use Claude Code. Cursor and Codex work the same way.
Three commands
$ npm install -g @trayai/helix-cli # install the helix command, once
$ helix login # opens the browser, finishes when you sign in
$ claude # or open Cursor or Codex
Sign in when the browser opens and the terminal picks it up. Your workspace comes with your sign-in.
Every assistant on the machine shares that session. Run helix login yourself, in a plain terminal, and never paste the saved session into a prompt.
Open the assistant in the folder where you want the app. From here on, you build by asking it.
